Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Provide direction and leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator.

Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates.

Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.

Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.

Must have active Texas license with DEA, BLS.  Training in Family Medicine or Pediatric Medicine preferred. Must be able to pass clearance.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, 401 (K) flexible scheduling and relocation. 

Salary: $225,000 - $350,000/yr

Dilley Immigration Processing Center is located in Dilley, TX. Dilley is approximately 70 miles outside of San Antonio, TX. The facility houses ICE detainees.

Dentist - Eden Detention Center

Dental care in a correctional setting is challenging and rewarding. It offers fulfilling opportunities for Dentists to sharpen their clinical skills, utilize cutting-edge technology, and actively manage patients, free from many of the bureaucratic processes found in traditional health care settings

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

The Dentist is responsible for professional dental care for inmates.

Performs routine dental treatment including examining teeth and gums for cavities, infections and diseases; takes necessary x-rays; performs fillings and extractions as warranted.

Diagnoses and develops treatment plans for inmates.

Develops, coordinates and supervises the facility dental program to include advising and instructing inmates in the cause and prevention of dental disease.

Must have an active Texas license with DEA and BLS. Must pass federal clearance.

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000/yr.

About the Facility:

Eden Detention Center is located in Eden, TX. The facility has approximately 1500 male inmates. It is a 24-hour clinic that is staffed with a mental health department, dental department and medical department with provider day coverage.
