Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Provide a variety of professional medical services to residents to include administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care.

Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates.

Make clinic rounds

Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.

Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.

Accept on-call status.

Must have active New Mexico license with DEA, and BLS.  Must pass federal clearance. 

Salary: $125,000 -$175,000/yr

Torrance County Detention Facility is located in Estancia, NM and holds approximately 1100 Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Torrance County male detainees.
