Qualifications:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a variety of professional services to include counseling, assisting in developing and implementing treatment and therapeutic programs for assigned inmates.

Provides direct casework services and individual, group and family counseling to inmates.

Prescribes and monitors psychotropic medications.

Accepts on-call status.

Must have an active Ohio license with specialty in psychiatry. Must have DEA and BLS.

Compensation: $160,000 - $175,000/yr

Northeast Ohio Correctional Center is located on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border in Youngstown, OH.

The facility houses Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, US Marshall and Immigration and Customs Enforcement male inmates and has a 24-hour clinic with a mental health department, medical department and dental department.
