Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Typical duties include managing the operation and providing overall direction and leadership to the provision of mental health services to the facility. The Psychiatrist has the primary responsibility of providing administrative and clinical coordination for the comprehensive mental health program for the patients. Provides medication management for patients.
Must have Mississippi license. DEA license and BLS. Corrections experience preferred.

Adams County Correctional Facility is located in Natchez, MS. It can house approximately 2500 male ICE inmates. The facility has a full clinic with medical, dental and mental health staff.
Natchez, MS is located on the Mississippi River approximately 85 miles north of Baton Rouge, LA and 90 miles southwest of Jackson,MS. Natchez has a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that include golfing, hunting, fishing, kayaking, casinos, museums and art galleries.
